Attention fans: It's a big week, upcoming, in FireAntz-land. Three games remain in the regular season, and two of them are at home. The FireAntz host Richmond on Friday, March 21st and Jacksonville on Saturday, March 22nd. These three remaining games will determine the FireAntz' seed in the playoffs. Currently, they could finish in either 3rd or 4th place. If they finish in 3rd, they would have home-ice advantage for the 1st round of the playoffs. Stay tuned....
Wednesday, March 19th: FireAntz @ Richmond Renegades
The FireAntz travel to Richmond for what is sure to be a playoff-like atmosphere. It'll be a matchup of the current #3 seeded Renegades hosting your current #4 seeded FireAntz. Only 1 point seperates the two clubs in the first of two matchups between the clubs this week.
Note: The game at Richmond will NOT be available on SPHLTV (thesphl.tv). If you are accustomed to watching the FireAntz games on the road this season, please know that the game will not be viewable via the internet. Fans, however, can follow along on www.Pointstreak.com for live, updated statistics in real-time.
There is another way to follow the game as well. Fans, can click on www.allinbroadcasting.com to listen to the play-by-play broadcast of the game. It is audio ONLY.
Thursday, March 20th: Meet and Greet at Fazoli's
It's the final Fazoli's Night of the 2007-08 season and, as always, they've been very fun. The team will be there from 6-8 to meet and greet the fans. Come on out to Fazoli's for the final time this season.
Fri., March 21st: Richmond @ FireAntz (7:30 pm @ Crown Coliseum)
It's Fan Appreciation Weekend brought to you by Time Warner Cable, and there is a great weekend of fun and exciting hockey in store for you, the fans. Friday's game is brought to you by Verizon Wireless. The FireAntz will be hosting their annual Beach Swimwear competition and the first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a Lei courtesy of Cape Fear Harley Davidson.
Sat., March 22nd: Jacksonville @ FireAntz (7:30 pm @ Crown Coliseum)
It's the final home game of the regular season and it's Kid's Night brought to you by Lumbee River EMC. Make sure to bring the kids because Scooby Doo will be at the game to cheer on the FireAntz. We will also be spotlighting some successful participants of the FireAntz' and Lumbee River EMC's Blades for Grades Program. There will also be a jersey auction of one of the sets of jerseys that the FireAntz wore throughout the season.
Come out to both home games this weekend and check out exciting hockey, leading up to the playoffs, and family fun for everyone! Cheer on the FireAntz as they look to Bring Back the Cup!
