The FireAntz finished 3rd in the SPHL Regular Season standings with a 25-19-8 record. They defeated the Richmond Renegades two games to none in the first round of the playoffs. The FireAntz won Game 1, on the road 2-1. Game 2, in Fayetteville, was a reverse of the previous night with the Barracudas defeating the FireAntz 2-1, in Fayetteville.
